GSC’s Skillsmender

When I arrived I was asked to sign my name and the Time I came in. Then, I was lead to the main room where we were going to do our activity. However, since we were waiting for all 12 members we just played games on the computer. M-bot Creating – I found the M-bot creating a bit hard. I was the 3rd to finish my mbot. Lunch – I had a Fanta and Crisps. I took ready salted because I like it the most. I also had a couple maltesers. M-bot races – I won every race. I think we played a total of 8 races and won 7 times because I only played 7 matches.

Day 2

When I arrived, I signed my name and walked over to my monitor. As usual, I started playing games like geometry dash. When Eddy came in, we went to the middle table and had a discussion about being nice.

We  made the robots be able to sing Happy birthday. It was hard but eventually we got the hang of it. It was a very hard task but after that, we had to make police lights as our task 2. It was fairly simple and I got through it very easily.

After that, we ended up having lunch. For lunch, I had a Chicken salad and some crisps. I also had a bit of fruit.

*After Lunch, we started playing football with the mbots. I was very good at this because I had a bit of experience in the mbots. We had 2 captains and I was on the winning team. We won 6 – 2. I scored 5 goals for my team and my team mate scored 1. When the opposing team scored one goal, they were very happy because we had a high winning- streak. In the end, my team finally lost and we were kind of upset as we had a very good streak. The other team rejoiced and gave us the L because we gave them the L. In the end we we just accepted our loss in the win streak. My team had Me, Dj Adeboye and a bunch of other people. The other team had Arin, Fred and Adedamola and Musa.

We had a lot of fun!

Day 3

I was first to arrive on Day 3. I played games while waiting for the staff to come in. The first to arrive was Eddy. He eventually came in, and he just sat at his computer doing boring stuff. When everybody arrived, we went into the lesson. After lunch, we did Mbot racing but with obstacles. I won the first race and Nathan said he won, so we rematched and I won.

Day 4

Yesterday, I came in and started playing games. We went to the center table and were told as we completed our lesson, we would have to fill 2 forms. One for the pizza topping we wanted and one for what we wanted on our certificate. For my topping, I chose sausage and pepperoni. (Got sent out 3 times ;v)

Day 5

I was happy because today was the day of the Pizza. We were also going to get our remotes which required lithium batteries. I asked for a sausage and pepperoni. I really liked the pizza very much, though it was small.
